If you surround yourself with people who feel hopeless, can’t see the wood for the trees and make you feel worse about yourself and your objectives, there’s no other way – ditch them. Unless that is, you feel you can help them as well as help yourself.

Some negative-minded people thrive on venting their unhappiness and dissatisfaction with life onto others. They crave the sympathy and will leave you tired, emotionally drained and unable to focus on your own goals and dreams.

If you do the opposite however, boy will you notice the difference! People who are vibey, proactive, happy and energised can only have a positive effect on others. You’re more likely to emulate those aspects of their personality and that can only be good for your own goals!
