Healthy Paleo Snacks: Kale Chips

The one major rule of the Paleo diet is very simple. Make sure that you understand the reason you’re eating natural food and not heavily processed food is that heavily-processed food is bad for your body. Fact.

What this means is that pre-packaged, heavily processed snack food is out while natural foods is in. Paleo-inspired cooks and chefs have spent the past few years conjuring up delicious and interesting ways to get your snack on, without ruining your health, and Kale Chips is one of them.

This recipe for Kale chips has got to be one of the healthiest but tastiest snacks known to man, and seriously, you don’t need to be Jamie Oliver to make them!  Nor do you have to be on the Paleo diet either as these babies are just yummy, full stop! The ingredients and instructions are pretty much as simple as cooking gets: Use as much washed kale as you can handle and sprinkle with enough olive oil to coat it all. Add some salt and pepper to your taste, even add some chilli if you feel so inclined. Bung them in the over for around twenty minutes or so, until they are crunchy Then, get these babies out and serve up in a big bowl and share! They are packed full of protein and fibre and oodles of vitamins and minerals are perhaps the most wholesome, tastiest snack around, ever. Fact!
